The seven Sacraments
The seven sacraments are Catholic rituals marking seven stages of spiritual development. Baptism is the first - the gateway to all of the others, namely Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony.
Children Catechetic (CCD)
Children Catechetic Development is the religious teaching program of the Catholic Church. These classes are taught to school age children to learn the basic doctrines of their faith.

St Joseph’s, a community of faith in the heart of Paris since 1869, was rebuilt 30 years ago this year, but the Mission of Com-Passion remains the same.

Parish Priest (Curé)
Martin Coffey born in Dundalk, Ireland was ordained a priest in the Passionists in 1980. He has served as Provincial Superior(2000-2008), Missionary in Africa until 2000 and China until 2015, Secretary of Formation in Rome before coming to Paris in 2022. Masks indoors are no longer mandatory. Those who feel safer wearing a mask at Mass are encouraged to do so.
Sanitizing gel remains available.
Cooperation with Ushers who care for us before, during, after Mass is appreciated.
Holy Water is available in fonts.
Eucharistic Ministers can sanitize hands at left of Altar. Blessed Sacrament received at side of Altar before distribution to people.
