Baptism

Baptism is God’s most beautiful and magnificent gift… The sacrament is called Baptism after the central rite by which it is carried out: to baptize means to “plunge”; the “plunge” into the water symbolizes the catechumen’s burial into Christ’s death, from which he rises up by resurrection with him, as “a new creature”.

DATES of BAPTISMS  (Infants & children) some Saturdays at 12:30pm.
Once the parish receives your Application Form, parents will get confirmation from the Parish Office.

The following readings are recommended for Baptism of Children: 

Old Testament: Exodus 17:3-7, Ezekiel 36:24-28, Ezekiel 47:10-12. 
New Testament: Romans 6:3-5, Romans 8:18-32, 1Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28, Ephesians 4:1-6, 1Peter 2:4-5, 9-10, 

Responsorial Psalm:  Psalm 23:, Psalm 27, Psalm 34.   
Alleluia Verse before Gospel:  (1) God loved the world so much, he gave us his only Son, that all who believe in him might have eternal life.  (2) I am the light of the world, says then Lord; the man who follows me will have the light of life.  (3) I am the way, the truth, and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father, except through me.  (4) One Lord, one faith, one baptism.  One God, the Father of all.  (5) Our Savior Jesus Christ has done away with death, and brought us life through his gospel.  (6) You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy people.  Praise God who called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light.
