St Joseph’s Info Day

It is a long time since we could meet each other after Mass. Today you are invited to go to the Garden after Mass. If you wish to ask about Ministries at St Joseph’s, CCD or any other activity please approach people who are there to help. ACWO and Marymount School Paris each have a table. Be sure to take something to eat!
Health Advisory: In the interests of health, please keep a safe distance from others and wear a mask (except when eating or drinking!) Numbers will be at a safe level, if you would leave the garden before people arrive from another Mass. Many thanks for your understanding.

A word of appreciation to Kalleen who coordinated the plan for the garden, and all who supplied food for today. Also those who set up tables and did shopping. Parish Office did printing.

9-10 Oct ‘21 a path will begin towards “A Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission.” This will lead to a Synod of Bishops in Oct 2023 and implementation in local churches. We will hear again the call to renewal of the Vatican Council II, almost 60 years later. We live in blessed times which are both gift and task. Pope Francis encourages us to ‘journey together’,  reflecting on the journey we have made and to learn how ‘to live Communion, to achieve Participation and to be open to Mission.’ (Synod Doc. No. 1) This grace-filled call to all is  one to journey together. [Aidan]

New Ministry re ‘Laudato Si’ (L.S.) Taking good care of our common home is increasingly important. We can explore what we can do together both at St Joseph’s and at home, in a new movement in the spirit of L.S. Carlotta and Anne on Sunday will welcome volunteers.

CCD Classes resume online next Sun 3rd October. Teachers’ Meeting last Saturday discussed the year ahead. Our CCD volunteers do a great service in our community.

The Apostolic Letter of Pope Francis, May 2021, instituting the Ministry of Catechist was shared at the meeting. When the ‘Rite of Institution of the lay ministry of Catechist’ is received, CCD catechists will be called for this. Contact: This email address is being protected from spambots.
