Mass registration is still continuing  Saint Joseph’s continues  cautiously until the Delta and other variants are better understood. We await further health guidelines. The health of all is our priority. Registration for Mass will remain no longer than it is necessary.

Baptisms at St Joseph’s are in big demand; daily we have the painful duty of telling people that the next available date for baptism of their child will be some months away. Four Baptisms together is the capacity of the church. Each family is asked to have no more than 20 people (maximum) at Baptism. Chris and Juliet do a wonderful preparation for Sacrament of Baptism. A gentle reminder that an offering for St Joseph’s Church can be given to the priest on the day of the Baptism. Application Form:

Collections 18th July: 4 Masses: € 901,51; ADP: € 643. La Quête: € 17. Last Sunday access to St Joseph’s was not without its challenges due to the Tour de France.

Passionist Provincial Chapter 2021:
: Fr. James Sweeney (Re-elected); Consultors: Frs. Bernard Lowe, John Friel, Paul Francis Spencer, Anthony Connelly.
Please pray for these leaders beginning their 4 years of service of St Patrick’s Province.

[With no daily updates from the Chapter, I was unable to share any news with you, our partners in community and mission. If you wish to resume our ‘Conversations’ again with you and the Passionists, we could discuss the sharing of information. My aim in our 5 Hall sessions over recent years was to have a conversation with you, hearing your issues and views, as we Passionists listened.]

[I made a personal decision not to travel to the Provincial Chapter due to COVID travel regulations for entering the U.K. from the E.U., and a rising rate of infection.] Aidan, C.P.

Feasts this week: Mon: Ss Anne & Joachim; Thurs: Ss Martha, Mary & Lazarus [Decree of Congregation for Divine Worship, 02.02.2021); Sat: St Ignatius Loyola, Founder of Jesuits.
