Fr. Aidan TROY C.P.
Parish Priest (Curé)
Aidan Troy born in Bray, Ireland and was ordained a priest in the Passionists in 1970. He has served as Provincial Superior on two occasions and also on the General Council in Rome. Before coming to Paris in 2008, he was involved in peace and reconciliation across the sectarian divide while stationed at Holy Cross, Ardoyne, Belfast. He has written two books – one on the Holy Cross School Protest and one on pastoral care relating to Suicide and contributed articles to other books and publications. He holds degrees from University College Dublin, Angelicum University, Rome, and the University of San Francisco. During his time in Paris, he has contributed to various radio and television programs including France24 T.V. His interests include sport and writing. We Reconcile
It is called the sacrament of confession, since the disclosure or confession of sins to a priest is an essential element of this sacrament. All Year long: Sat 11:30am-12:30pm and 5pm-6pm.
We volunteer
St Joseph's volunteers help to provide a hot three course meal to around 60 needy people on the 4th Friday of each month, at the American Cathedral.
