Saturday’s Parish Social – <Mardi Gras> in Parish Hall was a great success. The support and dedication of many people led to this. Josefina and those with her gave us a great evening of song, dance and food. ‘Texas Smoked BBQ’ added to the evening. Waffles appealed to those with a ‘sweet tooth’. €1,954 was raised for the Lenten Project 2018. Parish Pastoral Council has generously worked on the Mardi Gras and Lenten Project.

Please remember at Mass and in prayers, Mgr. François Fleischmann who died last weekend. For the past nine years he celebrated Confirmation for CCD and Marymount School each Pentecost. He was a gentle and humble priest who developed a bond with families and Confirmation Candidates since being invited to St Joseph’s in 2009. This year he was ready to join us at Pentecost, but the Lord called him home. Rest in peace.
