Parish Pastoral Council recommended that this year’s Lenten Project be for the people of Haiti where Passionists have a community. Fr Rick, C.P. is priest and medical doctor. Parishioners, Lorrie and Bob, lived in Haiti for four years and will speak at Mass next week, giving an eye-witness account of people’s lives in Haiti.

Conversation’ of Laity and Passionists This was 5th since Dec. 2018 and leads to Passionist Provincial Chapter in June 2020. Fr Mirek, C.P., General Consultor from Rome, will be at St Joseph’s from 21-23 March. He will meet with the Pastoral Council on Sat, 21st March from 4-5 p.m.

Praise and Worship’ will take place in the Hall on Sunday, 15th March at 3 pm. Prayer petitions taken on parvis after Mass. As part of ‘Laudato Si’ theme, garden can be donated Spring. A cake sale by young people to fund children’s holidays today.

Feed the Homeless will take place today Sunday, 8th March at 1.30 p.m.

ACWO potluck lunch on Thursday, 12 March beginning at noon. Feast of St Patrick on 17 March, an extra Mass at 11 a.m. followed by the annual Reception in the Hall. CCD Teachers/Assistants are offered a retreat/ongoing formation on Sat afternoon, 6th Jun or else in Sept. Mgr. Connolly, past President of National Seminary in Ireland and lecturer at Institute Catholique has been approached to lead this. An invitation to anyone who wishes to learn more about CCD with a view to volunteering for CCD 2020-2021 are very welcome to this event.
