Parish Pastoral Council met last Monday. As usually happens at these gatherings, time was not long enough. A prayerful reflection on the sharing that had taken place at the Parish Conversation on 6th October was done. It was felt that we should continue with this type of exchange. It was strongly emphasised that Ministries are open to all people who have been called to come forward. New approaches are to be welcomed. A shining example is the presence among us of a new awareness of Pope Francis’ ‘Laudato Si’, to care for our earth given us by God. This was an initiative of a young couple presenting this to PC and at the Parish Conversation. Long-established ministries are constantly seeking ways to renew and offer a better service to God and people. In the future it is hoped to have a better way of providing information about all happening at St Joseph’s. Volunteers are sought not only at the Information Day, but NOW is God’s time of grace. November meeting of the PC will be on Monday, 18th November at 7.30 p.m. and December meeting on 16th at 7.30 p.m.
