Parish Meeting next Sunday, 17 Feb. 1.30 pm. An Open Invitation:

This meeting in the Hall will be attended by Fr James Sweeney, Provincial of the Passionists (above). In a conversation at our second of three parish meetings, we can engage with him about future assignment of Passionists of from St Patrick’s Province to St Joseph’s; our Mission’s relevance as we celebrate the 150th Anniversary (1869) of St Joseph’s and prepare to celebrate in 2020 the 300th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Passionists by Saint Paul of the Cross. Also, Church works, and finances will be on our agenda. ‘Mardi Gras’, 2 March, Lenten Project will be presented and plans for Lent and Easter. CCD and other topics may arise. Pastoral Council will meet at 7.30 p.m. on 11 Feb to prepare. If possible, your participation will be greatly appreciated next Sunday. Appreciation to those who painted the side chapel this week as a gift to St Joseph’s Church. Along with restoration and painting in Passionist section, we are richly blessed by these and all our volunteers.
