Lenten Project 2018:  

€26.584,54 this contribution to the Passionists in India for their St Gemma’s School has been sent. This blessing for the children and families brings blessings to us also. A plaque acknowledging St Joseph’s, Paris, in helping to make the classrooms possible will be placed in the school. A letter from Fr Paul is on parvis notice-board. He hopes to visit St Joseph’s in Oct after the General Chapter meeting in Rome.

Confirmation News: Mgr. Denis Jachiet, Auxiliary Bishop of Paris, will meet CCD & Marymount Confirmation Candidates to review their letters, on Sat 5 May at 1O am at St Joseph’s. Parents of Candidates are asked to meet at St Joseph’s at 12.30 p.m. on 5th May to prepare for Confirmation Ceremony.

Summer Fair, Sun. 3 June for St Joseph’s. Tombola Tickets for attractive prizes go on sale next weekend’s Masses. Thanks to those selling the tickets. Summer Fair is the annual fundraising for St Joseph’s. This helps during the Summer when some are away and one less weekend Mass. A Summer Fair Tombola prize or donation to purchase a prize, would help greatly.

Congratulations to Marymount Students who celebrated their 1st Reconciliation on Wed last.

Pastoral Council: Tues, 10 Apr at 8 p.m. dealt with both review and planning. The Summer Fair preparations were fine-tuned. Ministries were discussed and plans for future liturgies.  Monitoring of financial donations is continuing. Next meeting, Tues. 8 May at 5 p.m. with European Pastors of English-speaking parishes hosted by St Joseph’s, 7 – 9 May.

CCD First Holy Communion REHEARSAL on Sat 5th May at 3.00 p.m.

Fatima Bring & Share on Sun, 13 May, 1.30 pm in Hall. Bring a dish for a shared lunch; talk will be given on rosary as a prayer for conversion of Russia. Rosary Procession will end session.
